What file formats and pattern types are accepted?

You can import YouTube videos, PDF files, images (JPG, PNG, WEBP), screenshots, photos, or simply paste raw text. The tool is optimized exclusively for crochet patterns.

What languages are supported?

You can translate your patterns from any language into English (US or UK terms), French, and Spanish.

Can I add my own notes?

Yes. You can add global personal notes for each project, as well as insert specific notes at each step of the pattern.

Can I continue viewing the original pattern?

Absolutely. The original pattern remains the working document that you always keep in view while crocheting. This preserves the complete initial layout and images so you never miss a detail.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Step by Stitch works directly in your browser on smartphone, tablet, or desktop, with automatic synchronization of your projects.

Is the free trial time-limited?

No. Your first PDF, images, or text pattern remains accessible without any time limit, with all features available (interactive reader, translator, row counters, stopwatch, etc.). YouTube video pattern imports remain unlimited. No credit card is required.

How does subscription cancellation work?

The Unlimited plan is completely non-binding. You can cancel your subscription in one click from your profile: it will end at the close of your current billing period without any extra fees.
